Community Work
Explore my collaborative community work:
I create themed, abstract paintings that offer structure and an inviting space for others to join in. Each piece starts with a prompt, having participants add to the painting with any kind of mark—words, colors, shapes—using pastels, paint markers, pens, or pencils. The final piece always surprises me. It’s about creating something meaningful and beautiful on my own, then letting it evolve into something new with others.
South Park Walkabout
This is the final painting from Saturday June 14th at the South Park Walkabout, right after the #NoKings march. Throughout the day, walkabout-ers stopped by and added their own words and art to my canvas—turning one question, "What are we made of?" into a collective answer.
